You like to work with horses? You are up for new adventures and want to experience the cowboy way of life under the endless sky of the Canadian prairies?
TW RANCH offers the unique opportunity to participate in the daily activities of a large working horse and cattle ranch. This is mainly seasonal (April - November) on a volunteer basis, There is a full-year position available as well. In order to get all the ranch life experience you should come for at least 3 to 4 month.
Your daily work activities include a lot of riding, cattle drives, checking calving and foaling, sorting cattle, colt starting and horse training in general. But you will also be out checking fences sometimes.
Accommodation and food is provided. You live and cook together in a small house on the ranch with a little campfire place for barbecue in front of it.

Requirements
If you have decided to work on our ranch and live the ranch life you must meet the following requirements. In order to volunteer at our ranch you need to be at least 18 years old. You must be physically fit, a competent rider and willing to work long hours (40 – 50 h / week). A positive attitude, team sense as well as the will to use natural horsemanship methods are prerequisite at our ranch. You English skills should be sufficient to communicate around the ranch on a daily basis.
Application
In addition to your age and location, your application should detail your background with horses and mark out if you have had any experience with gaited horses.
